Nimbis Services, the First HPC Cloud Services Broker, to Resell
Dassault Systèmes SIMULIA Products
Powerful manufacturing design solutions now available for engineering work groups with access to Abaqus Unified Finite Element Analysis products in HPC cloud deployments.
McLean, Virginia, November 10, 2014 — Nimbis Services, Inc. (Nimbis) announced today that it has entered into a Value Solutions (VS) Partner distribution agreement with Dassault Systèmes as a reseller of their SIMULIA branded products. Dassault Systèmes, the 3DEXPERIENCE Company, world leader in 3D design software, 3D Digital Mock Up and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solutions creates value for their products through their VS Partner program. As a VS Partner, Nimbis now offers sales and support of SIMULIA Abaqus Unified Finite Element Analysis (FEA) products in both traditional licensing packages as well as Nimbis cloud packages for evaluation and commercial use. Packaging, pricing, ordering, and access are managed through the Nimbis Services Technical Computing Marketplace, as well as regional marketplaces incorporating Nimbis’ software infrastructure.
The Abaqus Unified FEA product suite offers powerful and complete solutions for both routine and sophisticated engineering problems covering a vast spectrum of industrial applications. For example, in the automotive industry, engineering work groups are able to consider full vehicle loads, dynamic vibration, multibody systems, impact/crash, nonlinear static, thermal coupling, and acoustic-structural coupling using a common model data structure and integrated solver technology. Best-in-class companies take advantage of Abaqus Unified FEA to consolidate their processes and tools, reduce costs and inefficiencies, and gain a competitive advantage.
Nimbis is the industry’s first HPC cloud services broker, connecting its clients transparently with third-party compute resources, commercial application software, and expertise. Nimbis delivers superior FEA analysis and simulation services and expertise with a focus on small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) solving engineering problems in the manufacturing supply chain. Because of barriers to HPC, SMEs are often forced into slow and limited physical prototyping methods that do not have the advantages of modeling and simulation analysis provided by HPC. Nimbis' goal is to service its clients on multiple fronts, whether in the cloud or on premise.
Robert Graybill, CEO of Nimbis Services, is delighted to be able to include SIMULIA products in Nimbis’ Technical Computing Marketplace. “Nimbis continues to grow and offer the best collaborative and innovative design software to the ‘missing middle’,” Bob said. “Through the way Nimbis makes SIMULIA and other products available, more users have the opportunity to experience the power of design software and bring that innovativeness to their business.”
