MCLEAN, VA, October 16, 2012 – Nimbis Services, Inc. (Nimbis) announces its sponsorship of the Wolfram Technology Conference 2012 to be held in Champaign, Illinois on October 17 through 19. Nimbis, who has partnered with Wolfram Research to develop and deploy Cloud Services for Mathematica, is proud to be a sponsor of this annual event. This is the third year in a row that Nimbis has been a sponsor. Nimbis will have a booth on the lower level of the conference. Please stop by.
Nimbis offers two Cloud Services for Mathematica products for Mathematica 8: My Clouds for development and My Apps for deployment of your Mathematica enabled product on a cloud platform. Additionally, Nimbis will soon be launching a new cloud service allowing cloud bursting (as-needed on-demand scaling) from your local or remote desktop Mathematica session. Support for Mathematica 9 will be included in this new service.
My Clouds for Mathematica 8 contains the fully licensed parallel version of Wolfram Mathematica 8 available in on-demand grid licensing on Nimbis configured Amazon Web Services (AWS) Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) clusters. Select from a variety EC2 instance types and number of instances for your cloud. Upload and launch your Mathematica notebook and data files for parallel evaluation on your cloud and download your results. Launch several Mathematica clouds in parallel. Use your clouds to develop Mathematica-enabled cloud applications.
My Apps for Mathematica 8 is a custom Cloud Services for Mathematica starter package for developers to deploy their Mathematica enabled product on a cloud platform. This service is intended to help you hit the ground running with a scalable cloud-hosted Mathematica 8 deployment on an AWS platform that is tailored to your application requirements.
