ANSYS Remote Desktop

ANSYS provides complete solutions for finite element analysis (FEA) and computational fluid dyanmics (CFD) modeling, simulation, and visualization. ANSYS simulation software enables designers to confidently predict how their products will operate in the real world. ANSYS Workbench provides an easy to use graphical user interface for users to access and use ANSYS licensed software products. Our ANSYS Remote Desktop product provides the user with a remote desktop session running ANSYS Workbench from your web browser. The remote desktop encapsulation of ANSYS Workbench through a web portal was developed by the Ohio Supercomputer Center (OSC). We have integrated the portal into our technical computing marketplace offering on-demand access to ANSYS Workbench running on a graphics processing unit (GPU) visualization node at OSC. The remote desktop runs in your web browser through a secure virtual network computer (VNC) session to an account that we configurre for you at OSC. Tools are included for running parallel ANSYS solvers on high performance computing (HPC) clusters as batch jobs and for uploading and downloading all job-related files to and from your account at OSC.
